AR 670-1

The wear and appearance of the Army uniform can be found in AR 670-1. This army regulation will tell you everything you need to know on how to wear each of your uniforms and where everything is placed.

 

AR 25-50

Writing is an important tool you use as an officer. AR 25-50 teaches you how to write in the Army, prepare correspondance, and how to properly apply each type of correspondance.

 

AR 145-1

AR 145-1 is the Army regulation that defines the ROTC program. Here you will find information regarding the organization, administration, and training of ROTC cadets.

 

AR 600-25

Military customs and courtesies are a tradition within the Army. AR 600-25 outlines the customs and courtesies rendered in the Army today, such as salutes, ceremonies, and honors.

Field Manuals

FM 1

The history of the Army, its organization, how the Army fights, and its future, can all be found in FM 1.

 

FM 5-0

FM 5-0 covers the Operations Process used by the Army. It helps you to understand how the planning works, how to execute, assessment of the operation, and other topics.

 

FM 3-21.5

This field manual provides guidance for Armywide uniformity in the conduct of drill and ceremonies. It includes methods of instructing drill, teaching techniques, individual and unit drill, manual of arms for infantry weapons, and various other aspects of basic drill instruction.

 

FM 3-21.8

This field manual provides a doctrinal framework on how Infantry rifle platoons and squads fight. It also addresses rifle platoon and squad non-combat operations across the spectrum of conflict.

 

TC 3-22.20

Soldier physical readiness is acquired through the challenge of a precise, progressive, and integrated physical training program. A well-conceived plan of military physical readiness training must be an integral part of every unit training program. This training circular prescribes doctrine for the execution of the Army Physical Readiness Training System.
